Privacy
Short version: there are no accounts, and we want as little of your data as possible.
What stays on your device
The map’s outreach tracker (statuses, notes, your “spot” pin) lives in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device unless you create a share link.
Share-link boards
If you create a shared board, its statuses and notes are stored on our server keyed by the random secret in your link. Anyone holding the link can read and write that board — treat it like an unlisted document link. We don’t know who a board belongs to; there is no email, name, or account attached. Losing the link means losing the board.
What the server sees
Standard web-server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) via our hosting provider (Vercel), used for operating and debugging the site. No analytics profiles, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers.
Building data
Building pages show public records (addresses, owner-of-record names from city tax data, registration evidence). These describe buildings and their legal status, not individuals’ private information.
If ads or paid reports arrive
If we add advertising or a paid report, this page will be updated first, any ad provider’s cookies will be disclosed here, and payment details will be handled by the payment processor (e.g. Stripe) — we would store only what’s needed to deliver what you bought (an email address and the building it covers).
